A New Orleans Pharmacy Museum Wedding in the Iconic French Quarters
Bridgette and Saul’s Pharmacy Museum wedding reception and Preservation Hall ceremony was most definitely one for the books. I’ll never forget when the London-based couple first called me to be their wedding planner. The two knew they wanted to have their ceremony at Preservation Hall but beyond that, they really had just three other big requests for their wedding: they wanted a barbecue, they wanted mix-and-matched place settings and they wanted their reception in an iconic courtyard here in New Orleans.
I’m a New Orleans girl through and through and beautiful, historic New Orleans venues are definitely my thing! I just knew that a Pharmacy Museum wedding was absolutely the right idea for them.
Because this was an overseas destination wedding for them and they had very busy schedules, we planned the entire wedding weekend from afar. We met one another in person the Monday before their wedding and it was like we had known each other for forever!
Oh and as for their three big requests? We absolutely made that happen. Little Bushel Catering Co. did an amazing job on the barbecue wedding reception dinner. My team and I hand-picked out all of the silverware and place settings to give it that perfectly mismatched, yet elegant tabletop style. And the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum wedding venue–with its iconic French Quarters courtyard–was the picture perfect place for their reception. Gorgeous right? I just loved how it all came together! I could go on and on about the incredible partners we worked with to pull it all together. (See them below!) After their intimate, elegant Pharmacy Museum wedding, Bridgette and Saul’s wedding was featured in Vogue, which allowed us to re-live the day all over again!

I wanted to dance forever.”
