Who I am and what I do are really one and the same. Professionally, I am a destination wedding planner, event designer, and luxury travel ambassador. Personally, I am a romantic, oenophile, and culinary connoisseur. I have an insatiable appetite for life, celebrating all stages of it from the little things to the grandiose.
With twenty years of building out bespoke intimate affairs and boisterous celebrations with an eclectic clientele, I am honored to be named in Harper’s Bazaar “Top Wedding Planners in the World” list, featured in Vogue, the New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, and BRIDES. However, the most heartwarming reviews come from my clients.
I take only six to eight weddings per year to assure my services are truly wraparound: from the first phone call to the last sip of champagne. I get to know my clients. We are kindred spirits and often share a zest for food, music, art, cocktails, culture, style and all things intrinsically good. Above all, we believe love is worth celebrating.
As a NOLA native, authenticity and passion have been my greatest influence. The city thrives on it. Jazz echoes through French corridors of every street, friendly smiles meet you from each direction, and the smell of culinary genius fills the air. Senses are tantalized. It’s entertaining and it’s real. That genuine nature is something I wanted to translate to my work.
When cultivating relationships or designing signature spaces, I do not strive to differentiate myself. Instead, I lean into who I am and who my clients are. I uncover their stories and background to inspire the celebration and, together, we build a custom experience. While my personal touch is identifiable, each event is unique. At the end of the day, what I really do is get to know people on a soulful level, listen wholeheartedly, and reflect what I see back to them through experiential design.

We are travel experts. Using our extensive network of travel industry and hotel partners, we handle all the logistics ensuring transportation, accommodations and the entire flow of the weekend is smooth and comfortable for you and your guests.
Known for her tenacious spirit and warm personality, Michelle Norwood is a sought-after destination wedding planner based in New Orleans. Her bespoke planning and design approach is to start with her clients–to uncover their unique stories and backgrounds and let their stories inspire the celebration. When she’s not planning and designing signature spaces, she’s trying out new natural beauty regimens (her clients swear by) and traveling the world.
In order to provide an extraordinary experience, Michelle works with 6-8 full planning & design clients each year.
As Lead Event Producer, David Carriere is our logistics and day-of timeline king. David runs the day at all of our events to ensure that everything goes according to plan and no detail is left undone. In the days and months leading up to our events, David is taking care of travel-related hotel room blocks, permits and schedules. He's also a talented designer–handling digital floor plans, custom graphics, and illustrations.
From walking the second line to covering behind-the-scenes at our events, Brie Robinson is our go-to Event Assistant and Social Media Specialist. She’s there on the day-of making sure all of the details unfold as planned. When she’s not capturing the day or assisting on our events, she’s making sure our social media account is on point and up-to-date.

Cary Mitchell (Michelle’s amazing son), is our in-house technical team member. From websites to presentations and analytics and everything in between, Cary is our go-to person for anything related to the technical world. During wedding weekends and on the day-of Cary is one of our go-to event assistants. Don’t expect to see much of him though: he’s literally our runner, grabbing everything from frozen daiquiris from New Orleans Original to Cafe du Monde beignets.
