This stylish brand launch party in New Orleans was super personal because it was for my own brand!
After months of working on my new branding and website redesign as well as copy for our website, I thought there was no better way to unveil our new brand and celebrate our hard work than to pop the champagne with a stylish outdoor launch party in New Orleans.
I worked with Editor In Chief Media for my brand messaging and website copy and Sarah Ann Design for the logo, palette and website redesign. With my assets in hand, I begin designing an event inspired by all of the new branding work we had done. The obvious and perfect venue for our stylish outdoor launch party in New Orleans was none other than the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum!
I love, love, love this venue. I get the all the feels every time I walk into the courtyard. Taking on the task of planning and designing our own outdoor launch party, was unlike any other event design. It was personal. The tables had turned, and I was now the client planning my own outdoor launch party. Enjoy the photos below captured beautifully by Mo Davis Photography.
For the look, it was a no brainer that it would be branded in every possible way, while remaining tasteful. I wanted the locale to feel welcoming, however, loaded with WOW factor. The look and feel of the design was sleek, stylish and bold, just like our new branding. The event itself, it was a must that it be photo-worthy, this was immensely important as my design began to unfold for our outdoor launch party.
Every touch point had to be luxurious. I hand picked every detail of the event. The florals, all-white long stem roses, individually and sporadically intertwined with the existing greenery of the courtyard for an organic lived in look.
I wanted to keep the lounge space and bar area classic yet stylish. I chose two sleek dark gray sofa with ivory pouf and gold coffee tables for the conversation lounge vignettes. The statement piece was a large gold bar with gold bar backs. I wanted this space to feel stylish as well as inviting.
The table setting had to be perfect. As I began creating this moment I knew I wanted to lean more towards the lighter hues in the color palette and add a subtle pop of color. Steel Velluto linens provided by Nuage Designs, gold chairs provided by Lovegood Rentals and patina candle holders provided by House of Modern Vintage were a must. The subtle pop of color, black tapered and votive candles.
For the glassware, I selected the Waterford Elegance collection. The name and style fit the event nicely. The dinnerware and flatware were pieces from my existing collection from my home. A crisp white napkin and linen deckled edge paper suite provided by Eglantine Rose Letterpress finished off the clean and stylish look of the tables.
I wanted my guest to walk in and have their breathe taken away. Upon arrival into the Pharmacy Museum guest were greeted with warm towels for their hands, mask that expressed their comfort level and personal spray hand sanitizer.
Upon entry to the courtyard guest were greeted with our signature cocktail the Rue Peach served in a champagne coupe glass.
Guest took their seats for a family style dinner. I worked with Black Pearl Catering Co., and my only request was grey, black and gold serving platters and that the food is rich vibrant hues. They nailed it, the food was delicious and appealing to the eye.
After dinner guests were lounged under the bistro lights until day turned to night, enjoy cocktails and conversations.
And a must Mo Davis Photography and Lonely Eskimo Films captured every moment of this unforgettable event.
