On a walk down Magazine Street with Mo, we stopped into Unbridaled and both fell in love with this gorgeous vintage gown named Pearle. I was so inspired by the long sleeved delicate beauty that I designed this gorgeous vintage old world ethereal editorial around the muse, Pearle.
One of my favorite details of a they gorgeous vintage wedding gown is the train…all of that exquisite embroidery trailing behind, leaving a bit of drama in your footsteps…
It didn’t take much to achieve this gorgeous vintage old world ethereal editorial – thoughtfully placed flowers, curated heirloom details from my personal collections and soft textures.
I wanted to keep the details true to the period of the muse Pearle, as well as keep the color palette simple, green, white and golds only. I wanted Pearle the gorgeous vintage old world ethereal wedding gown to be the star and boy did she steal the show.
The flowers were perfect as if they were an extension of Pearle. Leaf and Petal Nola designed the wild garden florals and bouquet incorporating only white and green florals for the gorgeous vintage old world ethereal editorial.
For the table, no flowers, I wanted a true old world dinner, when candles were your only source of lighting. The table was set with mixed matched gold detailing dinnerware and flatware, brass candle sticks, and delicate stemware. The menus were adhered to the wine bottles. The paper suite was simple yet another beautiful detail of this gorgeous vintage old world ethereal editorial.
Mo Davis shot the entire editorial in film to stay true to the period of the gorgeous vintage old world editorial.
